The CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival 2007 (CMJ07), was held in venues throughout New York City, October 16-20, 2007. The festival annually presents the best in emerging music, film festival, exhibit hall, panel discussions, special events, parties, concerts, and awards ceremony.

Founded by Joanne Abott Green, Executive Producer of CMJ Network, Inc., CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival is the largest international music event for 27 years. Today, CMJ is a major festival connecting industry professionals, producers, artists, models, musicians, sponsors, college and young adults in the emerging music world.

CMJ07 all-day MCLE accredited Music Business Law Seminar presented by The Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association was held at New York University, Thursday, October 18, 2007.
