The visit was led by the committee’s president, the highly committed Jacques Hintzy. We visited an excellent project in Kpandroma to reintegrate children who had been caught up in the fighting between FNI and UPC. At and around the centre we met with children who were being assisted and who had successfully reintegrated. The children are provided with medical, psychosocial, educational and economic support. As we left the centre a group of girls sung of the suffering they had been through whilst the other boys and girls danced around them. We also visited Zengo, a group of villages that had been attacked by both UPC and FNI.
