Set in Szczecin, this Polish crime thriller follows police officers Zawieja and Trepa as they stumble upon a dangerous human trafficking ring. What begins as a routine investigation quickly turns personal for Zawieja when she uncovers a troubling connection to her inner circle.

The Thaw delivers a powerful and emotional narrative, directed by Xawery Żuławski and written by Marta Szymanek, Piotr Szymanek, and Kevin Rundle. Leading the cast is Katarzyna Wajda as officer Katarzyna Zawieja, joined by Bartłomiej KotschedoffCezary Łukaszewicz, and Andrzej Grabowski, with new additions like Michał Czernecki and Agnieszka Dygant in season two.

With its chilling plot, dynamic characters, and thought-provoking twists, The Thaw proves why Polish crime dramas continue to shine on the international stage.
