With over six categories of film, over 22 categories of screenplays,
stage plays and teleplays and a combined total of over 120 awards, our
un-waivering desire is to recognize and reward a large and diverse
selection of films and writing from all backgrounds.

The Love Unlimited Film Festival
& Art Exhibition is one of the world’s most amazing and inclusive
film festivals and art exhibitions. From the moment when people walk
through the doors realizing that no one is turned away for lack funds...
audiences realize that Love Unlimited is a one of a kind event placing
access, equality, artistic and emotional visions far beyond commercial
appeal. The start of the festival takes place in picturesque Venice
Beach, California in April and ends with Fireworks on the Waterfront of
beautiful Portland, Oregon in late May just days before the 104th Annual
Rose Festival!* For one hundred years, the Portland Rose Festival has
served families and individuals from Oregon and beyond with several
weeks of events and programs that spotlight the riches of our Pacific
Northwest heritage and environment while offering colorful examples of
many international cultures. Attended by more than two million people,
the festival is annually one of the top three most highly decorated
events by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA)
and in 2007 was named Best Festival in the World. The Love Unlimited
Film Festival is not affiliated with the Rose Festival but we look
forward to our Film festival being surrounded with such love and
emotion. The Love Unlimited Film Festival spans the course of four days
in two of the most exciting and innovative Film and Media areas of the
world. Our goals entail a commitment to uplifting, inspiring and
educating international audiences about the integration of love and the
cinematic arts; and supporting, through spotlighting and presenting, the
work of artists from around the planet. We recognize experimental,
avant-garde, independent, theatrical releases, music videos, and now
interactive art installations. It is our desire to continue to expand
the scope of artistic recognition during this exciting time in history
when professional cinematic vision and technology is more accessible to
the artistic hearts and minds of people not influenced by hierarchal
institutions which filter out diversity and raw, unharnessed emotion and

is dedicated to international outreach in order to promote love through
Film, Visual Arts, Music and Screenplay Writing. Its mission is to
help promote love worldwide - while encouraging people to continue
