A free S3D Campus trainingsession during Dimension 3!

In 2012, S3D Campus offers “Produce and Sellan S3D Feature Film or Documentary”, a new training program on stereoscopic 3D.This training will be held during the first two days of the European forum onthe new dimensions of images, at The Docks de Paris of Saint-Denis (justoutside Paris).

Sèvres,February 2012, 20th– On June 13 and 14, 2012, S3D Campus isholding a training program on producing and selling an S3D Feature Film orDocumentary, in collaboration with Dimension 3 Forum. Over the course oftwo days filled with theoretical classes and meetings with professionals in theS3D industry (stereographers, producers, distributors, international buyers…),trainees will learn how to avoid the technological and economical pitfallsrelated to the production of an S3D documentary or feature film; they will alsofind out about financial and market opportunities that can help develop an S3Dproduction. Two pitching sessions will also give people who have an S3Dproduction project the opportunity to present it in 3 minutes toDimension 3 marketplace’s audience.

This training program is free of charge, and issponsored by the European Union's MEDIA program; it will gather some thirtyparticipants, selected based on their resume and cover letter. Applicationsmust be sent to the organizers before April 15, 2012. Five of theparticipants can have their travel and accommodation costs covered.

- Professionals looking for information todevelop a S3D project (feature or documentary)

- Professionals with S3D projects (or who havejust finished a production and are willing to sell it)

- Content providers or distributors looking for economical models

From November 19 to 28, 2012, S3D Campuswill also offer an 8-day training program on “Producing an S3D Film, from theDrawing Board to the Screen”, combining hands-on workshops and theoreticalclasses, in order for trainees to get acquainted with all the steps involved inproducing an S3D film.
