Happy Birthday to Isabelle Adjani
Bosco di Ciliegi, who are in charge of the banquet to mark the actress’s anniversary, have promised to make a fantastic birthday cake for the celebrity. Planning her trip to Moscow Isabelle asked the advice of her close friend, composer and musician Jean-Michel Jarre, who has been in Moscow more than once.

Dominique Borg thinks Moscow is wonderful
Madam Borg was on the Grand Jury of the 24th MIFF. The French costume designer loves Russia, so she was happy to accept the invitation to visit Moscow again. She came here recently to work on the Moscow production of “Romeo and Juliet”. Her costumes for the musical are ravishing. Dominique’s love for Russia may, partly, be explained by her Russian origin: her ancestors were Russian post-revolution immigrants to France.

Kusturica’s Family Bliss
Emir Kusturica is coming to Moscow in the company of his wife and son. The Contribution in the World Cinematography Prize that is traditionally awarded at the MIFF Opening Ceremony, will be handed to the celebrated film director on 23 June at the Gala Premiere of his latest film, LIFE IS A MIRACLE.

Meryl Streep celebrates her birthday in St Petersburg
Meryl Streep who is coming to the 26th MIFF as a Guest has her birthday on 22 June. The actress is going to celebrate it with her family – her husband Don Gummer, a sculptor, and her three daughters. The family will leave Moscow for St Petersburg where they are also going to attend the International Festival of Festivals to be held in the Second Russian Capital this summer as well as the Palaces of St Petersburg Festival.
