Imagina 2005 wrapped and delivered

IMAGINA AWARDS 2005
2005, an excellent year for the Imagina Awards!
The competition has had unprecedented success and has not finish growing.
654 works registred this year and 62 countries participating in the IMAGINA AWARDS 2005 : Europe, USA, Canada, Malaysia, India, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Moldavia, Israel, Brazil, Ireland, Poland, New Zealand, Lithuania, Finland...

It’s the most important competition of computer graphics and SFX in the world. A very high level competition which rhymes with creativity, discovery and diversity. A meeting point for independent artists, small creation studios, and the students who compete with the Majors companies.

This competition will award animated graphic works with the help of digital technology by considering not only the technical aspects of the work but also the emotional element in the same light.
The IMAGINA AWARDS Jury* elected the winners and the Prizes will be given during the Imagina Awards Ceremony on Friday 4 February 2005 in Monaco, at 9pm.

* The IMAGINA AWARDS Jury 2005: Chris Landreth (3 prizes at the Cannes Film Festival, Special Jury Prize at Siggraph 2004, Grand Prize at the 2004 Ottawa International Animation Festival for RYAN), Paco Rodriguez (Producer/Filmax – Pinocchio 3000), Michael Rose (independent producer – Wallace & Gromit), Vicky Jenson (Director – Shark Tale)
