Musiclip, the International Music, Audiovisual Arts and Music Videos of Barcelona keeps widening its frontiers abroad. A prove of it, is that from the 19th - 22nd November Musiclip is going to participate in the german festival SoundTrack_Cologne of Köln (www.soundtrackcologne.de), a space of convergence between music and sound in cinema and media.

SoundTrack_Cologne bets on music videos in its sixth edition and for the first time it includes an international music video contest and screenings of the best Spanish videos which participated in Musiclip 09. In short, a complete explosion of music and audiovisual art of the best quality.

The german festival invites all directors, producers, distributors and cinema and music lovers to participate in the contest in the following categories: music documentaries, films about music or musicians and bands, live shows and music videos. The aim of SoundTrack_Cologne is to find new talent and convincing ways to mix music and images. The deadline for submission is the 15th September.

The participation of Musiclip in SoundTrack_Cologne is another sample of the collaboration path that the festival follows from its beginning: to consolidate itself as an international audiovisual reference, exporting its contents to strengthen music videos as a genre with own personality.

That is why Musiclip is also collaborating with Northern Wave of Iceland; Premios Lucas of Cuba; FAV, Festival Argentino del Videoclip; Festival Fenaclip of Chile; Imágina Funk and the recently incorporated Festivalissimo, Festival de Films Ibero-latinoamericanos de Montreal in Canada.
