include:
· Sunday, November 5, 10a-6p: 7th ANNUAL DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY (DP) WORKSHOP with Robert C. Banks, Jr., Matthias Saunders, and Adam White. An IP signature event, this wildly popular, hands-on workshop allows participants to help DPs light and shoot scenes on 16mm film, 35mm film and in HD which is then screened the next weekend at the festival. Fee is $75, which includes lunch the day of the workshop and a pass to the festival the following week. Limited seating available, reservations must be made and paid for in advance, deadline November 3. Location is at the Ideastream, 1375 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.
· Tuesday, November 7, 6PM – Opening night film – CAR
STORIES. With every ticket purchased for this film, the Grand Prix of Cleveland will give away 2 general admission tickets (good on Friday,
6/22) to the 2007 Grand Prix of Cleveland. Stop by to see their show car parked out in front of the theatre.
· Wednesday, November 8, 8PM -- With the border fence scheduled to be built most should find tonight's double feature on immigration enlightening. 2000 MILES NORTH and LETTERS FROM THE OTHER SIDE both deal with immigration; from Guatemala to Ohio and across the Mexican/American border.
· Thursday, November 9, ALL DAY - OHIO DAY. Films written, directed, photographed, and starring Ohioans, starting at 2PM and ending at 10PM. Meet the filmmakers after every screening.
· Friday, November 10, 6PM – 10PM. Assorted short films all evening. We start with a shorts program that features a documentary on the latest urban craze, ADVENTURES IN GEOCACHING.
· Saturday, November 11, 6PM. AMERICAN SCARY. American Scary is a look at the nation's tradition of horror hosting, from Ghoulardi to Ghoul-A Go-Go. Follow this American folk art form from its glamorous beginnings, through repeated waves of popularity, to its scrappy resurgence and survival in the age of cable access and the internet.
· Sunday, November 12, 4PM. BEYOND THE CALL. In a Mother Teresa meets Indians Jones adventure three middle-aged men, former soldiers and modern day knights, travel the world delivering life saving humanitarian aid directly into the hands of civilians in some of the most dangerous yet beautiful places on Earth, the front lines of war.
