"Two-Minute Heist" acquired by Celebrity Video

Justine Mascioli of Biltmore Muse Pictures is excited to announced that a distribution deal has been inked for Two-Minute Heist with west coast-based company Celebrity Video Distribution. As part of the DVD domestic release deal, the multiple award-winning oddball comedy starring Dan De Luca (HBO's "The Wire"), Kris Arnold ("Homicide: Life on the Street") and Natalie Diorio ("The Sopranos") is available at major retail outlets nationwide and online at Netflix, Amazon.com, TCM, Blockbuster.com and cduniverse.com and has generated impressive revenue so far.

Filmed in Washington D.C., Two Minute Heist was written and directed by Dan DeLuca and Kris Arnold and executive produced by Justine Mascioli. With a terrific SAG cast, comic book fade-ins, creative visual flair and the latest cinematic editing technology, the movie flows like a cool grown-up comic book. Fittingly, the story revolves around Slacker Dino Rado and his uptight partner Steven Scheere who made a bad investment. They borrowed money to make a B Movie that flopped big time and now the Jamaican Mob wants their money back. As a last resort, Dino and Steven follow an idea from a screenplay and cast a casino heist using unsuspecting actors. Their plan was flawless... until they put it into action! Dino and Steven didn't plan on getting shot at, beat up, and even worse, falling in love.

Celebrity Video Distribution's VP of Sales Jerome Wilhort commented, "Two-Minute Heist has been an excellent addition to our library. We are excited to pick up the rights and distribute this movie. We expect it to do better than the average independent film. It has a great cast, an interesting story line and is extremely funny."

Mascioli stated "Although the film was a risk in terms of funding and inexperienced directors, we still had a passionate and talented team and above all -- a great script. Mascioli continued, " We are delighted with our producer's reps and distributor - they believed in the project and felt it was worthy of a wider audience. We are hopefully for success internationally as well."

Two-Minute Heist earned three awards during its run on the festival circuit, including Best Comedy Screenplay from Craig Kellum of Hollywoodscripts.com and former writer of Saturday Night Live as well as Best Directorial Debut for DeLuca and Arnold and a Best actor award for DeLuca at the 2009 NYIFF.
