THE RETURN OF JAMES BOND

user
' Sky Fall ' - A 'Windfall' for James Bond James Bond is Back - and How! It is not a James Bond film, it is a Sam Mendes movie- and that makes all the difference. ' This is the end ' says the first line of the Opening Song in the film, and it is indeed, the end of Super-man Bond, who in this movie, is 'killed' in the very first fight sequence! 50 years after the Bond Series unleashed itself on the s...

By Alexander Acosta Osorio Q: Where does the inspiration for your short come from? A: Usually my inspiration comes from places I visit or just an image that sticks in my memory. "No Boundaries, Where The Church Won't Go"

user
Director: Virgil Roundtree.
Filmed Edited & Produced By Virgil L. Roundtree Sr. No Boundaries is a 1 hour documentry featuring Pastor Timothy D. Walker Sr. knowned as "The Horn Blowin' Preacher" who was called out of the pulpit in order to minister to those who would never walk into a church. Not only has he ministered in church, but he also goes into clubs, lounges & even on the street corners. Pastor Timothy is not afraid to cross those boundaries to reach the lost at any cost. The documentry also exposes the gap between the church and the community and what the church must do in order to bridge the gap. We are losing our communities to gang violence, drugs & murder every day; God is not pleased with the church. My mom often said "when you know better do better".

"Rid of Me" by Portland, Oregon native, James Westby, at Tribeca Film Festival

user
When homebody Meris and her husband,  Mitch Canfield, move from Irvine, CA to Portland, OR to pursue a job at his friend’s company,  Meris feels like an outcast among Mitch’s fraternity/sorority like circle of old high school friends, and everything she does and says to try and fit in is perceived as awkward, freaky and bizarre. It is not until she finds her niche in punk rock, chocolate covered gummi bears,  and revenge, when she can finally break free and feel...

Movie Review: CASINO ROYALE

user
It's been a long time coming, but the producers of the James Bond series, who are descendents of the family that has maintained "artistic" control of the series ever since its inception, have finally loosened their grip ever so slightly and allowed for an attempt at reinvention. For thirty years, more or less (or to be more exact, the moment Sean Connery left), the series has struggled with staleness and predictability with few exceptions. This was never more true than with the Roger Moore era...
