FESTIVAL FILM MERVEILLEUX / INFOS

The themes of the festival are Wonder, dreams, the imaginary, magic,
myths and legends, fables, fairy tales, poetry, the supernatural. The festival
also includes comics, role playing games, fantasy, science fiction, video games. A
festival on the themes of the imaginary, magic and dream as they are
themes present in all cultures, civilizations and in all eras that occupy an important place in cinema. The festival brings together the artists and an audience
to explore their own imagination, to enjoy and be amazed. The Talulah Association also
organizes short-film and features film events in Paris as well as film workshops and ecological awarenes.

 

 

Benedicte Beaugeois / Founder Festival Film Merveilleux 

 

Benedicte Beaugeois discovered the artistic world very early in life through music, dance and theater. In middle school, she integrated the rigorous schedules of the "Conservatoire de Musique et Danse de Yerres" (Music and Dance school). Upon completing high school, she decided to go to film school and specialize in film production. Ms Beaugeois has since worked for animation film production companies as well as short and feature-length film production and works at Peermusic. She creates and organizes the Festival du film Merveilleux (Paris) With co worker and childhood Friend Maureen Gerby.

Maureen Gerby entered the artistic world from early childhood through ballet and jazz dance followed by theater participating in small productions in collaboration with her parents. In high school, Ms. Gerby won a poetry contest and took her first steps toward the world of cinema with an option in film. She then studied at l'Université de Cinéma, Paris 3-Censier while also working at a local cinema. Ms. Gerby works at the Conservatoire de musique et de danse du val d'Yerres. With Benedicte Beaugeois she creates and organizes the Festival du Film Merveilleux
