The legendary grand master of European action cinema Enzo G. Castellari is coming to this year's Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival, where he will receive the honorary Lifetime Achievement Award. In his amazing body of work he has treated the audiences with numerous westerns, crime, postapocayptic and war films, as well as comedies and horror films. He is renowned for tense action scenes, innovative camera work and editing, and use of slow-motion, while all of his films possess very special energy and dynamics. He has started the explosion of Italian poliziotteschi films with High Crime (1973), made the last spaghetti western masterpiece with Keoma (1976), brought us the ultimate Italian postapocalyptic film with 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982), while his war film The Inglorious Bastards (1978) made a profound influence on young Quentin Tarantino, who has later made his famous remake.

The festival will take place from the 15th to the 20th of July in Ljutomer, Slovenia.
Besides numerous screenings of latest fantastic & horror attractions and music documentaries, as well as selected retrospectives, it will feature a delightful wine program, fierce live concerts, numerous art exhibitions and workshops, as well as the Queen of the Scream competition and Zombie Walk on the final day.
