The 8th edition of Grossmann, taking place from the 16th to the 21st of July in Ljutomer, Slovenia is just around the corner! The festival will begin on Monday at 18h with the opening of the Fear Manifesto art installation and presentation of the competing winemakers.
At 19:00 our film program will begin with the regional premiere of Serbian film Doctor Ray and the Devils, director Dinko Tucaković's new drama/comedy about famous Hollywood rebel Nicholas Ray's stay in Yugoslavia during the 60s and his attempts to make an art horror film there.
Our guest of honour will be director Goran Marković, a true legend of Yugoslavian cinema. We will also be visited by Spanish horror maestro Jaume Balagueró and British directors Alex Chandon and Julian Richards. From the UK we will also host producer Richard Guy and the amazing claymation animator Lee Hardcastle who will present a special selection of his short films at his very first festival appearance.
