Grossmann Info

On Friday, the 8th of June, the Vicious Cat Wine Champion Pre-Evaluation, organized by Cultural nad Educational Society Kelih (Chalice) and Grossmann Festival, took place at the Ljutomer City Hall. The winners in respective categories have entered the competition program of the 8th Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival which will take place from the 16th to the 21st of July in Ljutomer, Slovenia. 35 wine samples were submitted by 18 winemakers. The jury consisting of Dr. Mojmir Wondra, Mr. David Morisson, Barbika Žunič, Mitja Kos and Mrs. Nuria Lopez Sarroca evaluated them using the 100 point scale. The winning wines are:

Dry wines: Green Sylvaner 2010 by Lovrec Winery (Croatia)
Semi-dry wines: Rhein Riesling 2011 by Ljutomerčan, P&F Wineries
Semi-sweet wines: Rhein Riesling selection 2009 by Pra-Vino Čurin-Prapotnik
Red wines: Capris Refosco 2010 by Vina Koper Winery
