Free screenings are at the Mann Chinese 6 Theaters, open panels and filmmakers‟ lounge are at the Roosevelt Hotel. Every film is a Los Angeles premiere. We are proud to open with RISCADO and RECIFE FRIO. Both have won important awards, though they are virtually unknown in North America. Both directors are incredibly talented; they're here to stay. Their sure hands show total control of storytelling. Comedy, drama, film within a film, real or not? Take your pick.Brazilian celebrity attend the festival: Mariana Ximenes, Reynaldo Gianecchini, among 2 other surprise guests. Parking regulations have changed and much of the parking is one hour only and meters are enforced until 8pm or later on side streets near the theatre. There is also free street parking on Selma (south of Hollywood Blvd.) and other area side streets.Cherokee & Selma (south of Hollywood Boulevard).South of Hollywood Blvd. there are attended Grant Parking lots on McCadden Place and on Las Palmas. Parking is $8-$20 flat rate maximum. They do NOT offer validation to Egyptian Theatre customers, but the stores in the complex validate so people can get validated that way or there is a $5 lot on Selma.
