Sexy Romantic Thriller Movie Wins Another Award

Romanitc Thriller, "Say it in Russian," has been officially selected for competition and will be awarded the Gold Kuhuna Award for Excellence in Filmmaking by the Honolulu International Film Festival, to be held March 6 through 8, 2009 at the historic Hawaii Theater in  Honolulu, Hawaii.  The romantic thriller has already won the Best Big Budget Film Award from the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, three Indie Fest Awards for best feature, cinematography and supporting actor, and been officially selected by the Geneva Film Festival and Other Venice Film Festival in 2008. Filmed in Paris, Moscow and Los Angeles, with exceptional cinematography and a fully orchestrated original score, "Say it in Russian" stars Russian actress Agata Gotova, in the lead role of the film as Daria Larina, the daughter of a rich Russian mafia oligarch played by award winning Serbian actor Rade Serbedzija. Gotova's character falls in love with the American Andrew Lamont, played by actor Steven Brand, but Andrew soon finds on a visit to Moscow that he is involved with a family that is more complicated and dangerous than he ever imagined. The film also stars Academy Award Winner Faye Dunaway, who plays the role of Jacqueline, a Paris socialite who acts as the matchmaker for Andrew and Daria.

This marks the seventh festival laurel leaf for Say it in Russian.
