State of Poetic Emergency

Video and digital arts are today developing in a very worrisome international, social and political context. Fear of foreigners. Decline of civil liberties. Fright of human passions. Desires of emancipation under security control. Management nonsense is the rule. Electronic poetry invents new languages to think the world differently and to take part in its transformation. Let’s declare the State of Poetic Emergency. We expect the 29th festival to be unbridled, inventive, with no taboo, cosmopolitan, sensitive, serious and joyous…

The 29^th festival will take place in Friche la Belle de Mai, from November 10^th to December 4^th, 2016
-International encounters (screenings, performances, debates...) : November, 10^th to 13^th
-Opening on Thursday, 10^th at 6pm
-Saturday 12^th from 5.14pm: end-to-endt standing night of video arts, performance and psychoanalysis, in a partnership with Marseilles Freudian School.
-Sunday 13^th: at 7.29am: closing of the festival with an artistic breakfast
-Exhibition of installations: November 10^th to December 4^th (tuesday to friday 2pm to 7pm + we 1pm to 7pm)
