Sundance and other Park City Festivals news, past and future. #sundance @sundancefest Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold foreign rights to Todd Douglas Miller's film DINOSAUR 13Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold foreign rights to Todd Douglas Miller's film DINOSAUR 13, the Opening Night film of this year's Sundance Film Festival and also screening in the US Documentary Competition, to Dogwoof Global with rights in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa sold to Madman Entertainment and International Airline Rights, excluding North America, to Jaguar Distribution. Earlier in the festival Submarine sold all North American rights to LIONSGATE and CNN Films. The deals were negotiated by David Koh, Josh Braun & Dan Braun of Submarine Entertainment along with Evan Krauss of Gray Krauss Statford Des Rochers LLP on behalf of the filmmakers along with Anna Godas, Ana Vicente, Oli Harbottle & Vesna Cudic of Dogwoof Global; Paul Wiegard, Managing Director of Madman Entertainment; and Mona Kwan, VP of Acquisitions & Publicity for Jaguar Distribution. "We are thrilled that DINOSAUR 13 has found a home internationally,” said Director Todd Douglas Miller. “We look forward to sharing our incredible true story with audiences worldwide and working with Dogwoof Global, Madman Entertainment, and Jaguar Distribution." "We are delighted to have come on board for DINOSAUR 13 both for UK distribution and foreign sales,” stated Oli Harbottle of Dogwoof Global. “This fascinating and engrossing film immediately grabbed our attention from the moment it was announced as Opening Night Film, and with strong US and Australian partners already in place, we look forward to delivering the best possible strategy both at home and overseas." Dogwoof Global is the international sales arm of Dogwoof offering filmmakers worldwide sales representation, coming on-board at any stage of a project. The remit is compelling, narrative-driven documentaries with international theatrical potential as well as a clear appeal to audiences in the UK.
