The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is pleased to announce the lineup of Amazon Prime Video Take One Award Finalists, whose short films will be screened, and the winner unveiled during the 34th TIFF. Amazon Prime Video, a major digital streaming service that distributes worldwide a variety of video works including excellent original content, shares TIFF’s goal of discovering new talent and is the award sponsor.

The award is for filmmakers living in Japan who have not made a commercial feature as director, writer or producer. The winning film will be determined by the judging of short film submissions under 15 minutes. The two-month submission period yielded 223 entries, with 9 films selected as finalists.
