To our film community, 

During this pandemic we have gained a deeper appreciation for the life-giving services of “essential workers” in our communities. Artists provide a different kind of “essential” service. Each year, Windrider Film Forum located in Silicon Valley, California brings films and filmmakers inspire us with their story-telling and narratives that reveal solutions to even the most difficult challenges. Artists reveal our shared humanity, heal our deepest wounds, and help our hearts to soar. The “Lens of Hope” offered by these artists might be needed now more than ever.  These are the story tellers of Windrider.

Windrider Film Forum celebrates the essential artists in our lives as they inspire us to find solutions to our problems through the “Lens of Hope”. Please join us for our first-ever virtual film forum

We kick off our virtual film event June 27th, with an evening of inspirational short films along with conversations with the filmmakers.  Following this event, on July 5th we kickoff 7 weeks of Independent short films in our Windrider Summer Film Series which will be shown weekly at 7P PST.  

While Windrider does not do a call for submissions each year, we look forward to connecting with filmmakers around the world who are the storytellers of hope.  We welcome films and filmmakers that touch on the difficult subjects that aren't always easy to talk about.
