Short Film Funding - Really?!?!Short film funding is hard to find. Why would you fund a short? Well for a very small entry fee a filmmaker can receive $ 25,000 (US) to shoot a short. The winning script will receive $10,000 and get their film made by the winning filmmaker. Its like a dating website for writers and filmmakers. You receive lots of coverage (feedback) on your work and entries are limited! We have been recognized by the Irish film board! And will be airing on fox tv soon! We launch in January! Check us out! haha "Funding?!" how the hell are you funding? You state on your website that you take the money from submission fees and give back $25k in prize money. What happens to the rest of the money? and more importantly what makes you think that filmmakers need someone like you with two lame short films under your belt making decisions for them:)
Slamdance is a very reputable contest and been around for years they give $50k for their winning screenwriter. Nice try clown.
