The Vampire Film Festival (Vampire Fest) is finally coming home! "After two years in Los Angeles we wanted to permanently move the festival to the city most connected to the vampire myth - New Orleans. This glorious city is a place of mystical allure, the city where Anne Rice rethought the myth of the vampire. With its Gothic architecture, above the ground graves, voodoo and colorful history, New Orleans is the perfect location to celebrate the vampire myth and build the foundation fo...
With a festival which prides itself as being “fiercely independent”, the Woodstock Film Festival, which concludes today, is committed to the discovery of new talents, both behind and in front of the screen. With budgets that are tight in the extreme, more often that not, the actors used are new to the screen and unknown to the public (I included myself in this). However, when a performance of great depth or realism is given by someone you do not know, my tendency is to pay very close attenti...

Director: Ofer naim.
Those who remember Jerusalem in its splendor have called it the city of gold.
It is a city remembered for its glorious past but with no future. Instead of dealing with the present, people remain involved in the past. This is what stands in the way of Jerusalem’s survival.
What happened to “Jerusalem of Gold”?
Is there any hope or solution to the problems surrounding Jerusalem?
Which of the three religions should have the right to control Jerusalem?
Should Jerusalem be the capital city?
Maybe all that is happening in Jerusalem stems from the ”Jerusalem Syndrome” that causes one to lose touch with reality and ones stability.
Did Israel and Jerusalem’s leaders suffer from this syndrome as well?
This movie tries to answer many of these questions talking to a number of people from various walks of life in this unique city and through the many songs sung longingly about this city, over time.

While not every film can be “Fahrenheit 911” (which topped $200 million at the box office) documentaries have been faring we...
