FIPRESCI Prize
The 37th Toronto International Film Festival announced its award recipients today at a reception at the Intercontinental Hotel Toronto.
The Canadian awards below were selected by a jury comprised of producer and filmmaker Jody Shapiro, CPH PIX Festival Director Jacob Neiiendam, actor and filmmaker Valerie Buhagiar and director, writer and producer Patricia Rozema.

This evening the 55th San Francisco International Film Festival, presented by the San Francisco Film Society, announced the juried Golden Gate Award winners, New Directors Prize winner and FIPRESCI Prize winner at a ceremony held at Rasselas Jazz Club and Restaurant in the historic Fillmore district. The Cinéfondation and Short Films Jury presided by Michel GONDRY will welcome Julie GAYET, Jessica HAUSNER, Corneliu PORUMBOIU and João Pedro RODRIGUES.
