48FilmProject.com's new innovative take on the short film festival means you choose your own time and date.

This revolutionary approach means so many good things for you. Instead of having a set weekend or group of weekends throughout the year, you can choose your own time. You can create your own schedule, so whenever you have two days your team wants to devote to the project, you can. It's up to you whether you prefer weekends or weekdays, you make the decision. You can choose the 48 hours to do your shoot.

We also welcome repeat performances. Participate as many times as you like throughout the year. You will learn and grow each time you film a 48 Film Project, until 15th November 2014 - plus you’ve got more possibilities of winning.

Teamwork is more than a group of people and the whole is so much more than the sum of the parts; each of you brings your passion and fire. As a team, you can accomplish great things in a very short time, so call on your contacts and let the synergy begin. To get your story on screen, you'll have to be creative and flexible. Remember, you may log in at any time and begin filming. Your team is in complete control.

It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned vet of the entertainment business, an aspiring hopeful, or someone just here to do something fun for the weekend. Anyone who wants to take part in the project is encouraged to do so. We want to see and admire your creativity, to expose your talent. Even if you are a pro, this will be a chance to stretch yourself creatively. We guarantee you will learn and grow. Everyone who participates has accomplished something to be proud of: A complete short, 4 - 7 min long in just 48 hours.

 Format

Before your film begins you should have:

• 5 seconds of black
• A title card with: your team name, date, city, title, and genre
• A title card with: "This film is made for 48FilmProject.com 2014."
• 2 seconds of black
• Your film

The maximum file upload size allowed is 450 MB.

The film must be in one of the following formats:
