Inaugural Bmore en Español: Contemporary Spanish-Language and Bilingual Spanish-English Film Festival in Baltimore, Maryland

March 27-29, 2015

Objective: We are bringing to the Baltimore community up to speed with Spanish-language film events, raise awareness on the existing breath and wealth of contemporary Spanish-language cinema, and to educate the community about Latin American culture both abroad and locally through the dissemination of the latest films. This will offer a new and unique opportunity for local filmmakers, writers, and actors writing and producing in Spanish and Spanish-English to present their works to the community and discuss the themes and styles of their work in a unified context.

This festival is relevant and imperative right as Baltimore City, and the surrounding states and the nation, become more and more English-Spanish bilingual. This marks the first of many more to come!
