Filmmakers can take part in a festival that showcases their work to industry professionals in an arena that artists of their generation may have been overlooked. Located in the heart of the North Hollywood Arts District, our festival will take place at the Laemmle NoHo7 Theater which is the venue of many successful film festivals. North Hollywood is minutes from many Studios; Universal, Disney, Warner Brothers and CBS. The area is a hub of all that encompasses the Entertainment Industry! Awards & Prizes The Best Overall Film will be awarded $500 from our Jury Panel of Industry Professionals. Forty and Over Film Festival (hereafter: “FOFF”) competition is open to the United States and International entries to writers or directors 40 years of age and over only. All other participants (i.e. actors, crew, producers, etc.) can be of any age. Films must be 20 minutes maximum in length. 3 minutes minimum length. This includes credits. A festival that caters to writers or directors who are 40 years of age and older. We are looking for those talented storytellers who bring their life experience to the cinema. The subject matter can be any genre, subject matter or style. Films must have been written by or directed by someone 40 years or older. Early deadline is March 15, 2019.
