If you also think toothpaste industry only exists to legitimate teethbrush’s, if you also already noticed the odd similarities between a man’s thumb and a chicken nugget, if you also are not stupid enough to believe David Bowie’s death was only a coincidence, then time has come for you to GO OUT, FILM, TELL FIBS AND SUBMIT !

On Vous Ment Mockumentary Film festival will take place from May,27^th to 29^th at Ciné Mourguet in Sainte-Foy Lès Lyon (near Lyon, France).

This one of a kind event is dedicated to mockumentary genre films, that is to say fiction films that follow the conventions of documentary. This festival claims to be a place of reflexion about the influence and the manipulation of images.

Campaigning for artistic freedom to expand at its best, our festival is open to professional productions as well as self-produced films.

During a weekend of celebrating the mockumentary genre, we want deconstruction, punk amusement and childish gullibility to coexist.

The submitted films will be seen and put to the vote by a prestigious jury – no pressure, cool it ! - and the winners will be awarded with prizes.

Si vous aussi vous pensez que l’industrie du dentifrice n’existe que pour porter celle de la brosse à dent, si vous avez déjà remarqué les étranges similitudes entre le pouce d’un humain et un aileron de poulet ou bien si vous non plus n’êtes pas dupes face au décès de David Bowie survenu 9 jours pile après celui de Michel Delpech, alors le temps est venu. SORTEZ, FILMEZ, RACONTEZ et ENVOYEZ. 

Le festival On vous ment! se tiendra du 27 au 29 mai 2016 dans le Ciné Mourguet de Sainte-Foy Lès Lyon. 

Le Festival On Vous ment est né du désir commun de Matteo Migliaccio et Nicolas Landais d’honorer le genre faux documentaire beaucoup trop méconnu par le grand public.

Il se veut un lieu de remise en question de cette barrière si poreuse entre ction et documentaire. Un lieu de ré exion sur l’impact des images et leurs manipulations. Militant pour la liberté artistique la plus large possible, notre festival est ouvert autant aux productions professionnelles qu’aux autoproductions.

A travers un week-end pour célébrer le genre, nous souhaitons que coexistent l’esprit d’analyse de fond (Les Tables rondes en seront le principal apôtre), la déconstruction, le divertissement punk et la crédulité enfantine – eh oui, c’est possible !
