The Woodstock Film Festival has established itself as one of the best independent film events in the country by premiering exceptional films by established and developing filmmakers. The fest also present A-list concerts, parties, panels, and creates innovative and stimulating programming including Focus on Music, Exposure and Youth Initiative. 


The festival has drawn rave reviews nationwide from filmmakers, industry members, film lovers and the media alike. WFF was named by indieWIRE magazine as one of the top 50 film festivals in the world in 2010. 

Cash, prizes and/or services are given out in each category including: Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short (Narrative, Student, Animation and Documentary), Best Cinematography and Best Editing. Recent sponsors have included Toyota, Lowel-Light, Markertek, Ketel One, Hudson Whiskey, Hendricks Gin, Blue Sky Studios, Gigantic Pictures, BCDF Pictures, Panavision, TIME magazine, BMI and others.

The Woodstock Film Festival is now accepting submissions for all categories including Feature Narrative and Documentary, Short Narrative and Documentary, Animated Shorts, Student Shorts, Music Videos and Teen/High School Films.

Early bird deadline is April 15. Final Deadline June 7 with a WAB extended deadline for shorts of June 14 and June 28 for Features.
