Film Festivals
This is the longest running film festival in Brooklyn. Featuring films and videos by independent, college student, and youth (K-12) filmmakers from New York and around the world, all works are selected by a panel of film and video professionals.
The Brooklyn Historical Society and the Brooklyn Film & Arts Festival will present a screening of several Brooklyn-focused documentaries. Dates and screening schedule to announced later on.
The Brooklyn Indie House has given home to many underexposed filmmakers from around the world. Selected films will be awarded 6 screening dates and a percentage of net Box Office sales.

From page to production, from production to profession, the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC is dedicated to helping filmmakers and screenwriters get their work exhibited and grow their career paths.
Along with film screenings and screenplay readings, the BSFFNYC presents seminars and workshops with industry professionals to provide emerging filmmakers and screenwriters with the information and business advice needed to take their careers to the next level.
This is a judged contest awarding cash and prizes. We believe the greatest support given to filmmakers and screenwriters is the incentive to make more films.

The Brussels European Film Festival focuses on first and second films from across Europe and highlights young directors by giving them the possibility to show their talents.
22th Brussels Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
35 shorts and 70 long feature films in première, make-up contests, exhibitions, theatrical animations, manga market, etc.
The festival presents, in preview, a range of recent productions from Mediterranean countries. The festival offers also 5 sections. Also: academic programs, special music programs, etc.
