This June, in the historic Cornish town of Launceston, the first Charles Causley Short Film Festival will take place. The recently refurbished Victorian town hall plays host to a 300 seat cinema, offering one of the grandest environments for independent film-makers to screen their creation. Submitting your film is completely free, and we will offer the widest variety of films possible the opportunity of taking part in this exciting new festival.
The Terrace Theaters of Charleston, SC are please to announce The
Charleston Film Festival. The Charleston Film Festival brings the best
of local and national films to the Charleston community. It has two
locations, one on the Charleston Harbor, and the other in James Island.
Scheduled for March 11-14 2009, the Charleston Film Festival will bring
film makers and film lovers in a three day celebration of the art form.
Three educational talks are planned, as well as and after-festival gala

The mission of the Charlotte Film festival is to provide our community with an extraordinary cultural experience, while bringing exposure to the cause, innovation, and uniqueness of vision of the filmmakers whose films we showcase.
The Charlotte Horror Fest is horror and sci-Fi film festival taking place every October in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event is
produced by Indie Film Force, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005, which also produces the already established Charlotte Film Festival
The mission of the Charlotte Horror Fest is to bring filmmakers and film fans together for a celebration of the Horror and Sci-Fi genres. To create an event where the films can receive a quality projection that is on par with the dedication and perseverance that went into making them and fans can experience the works the way the filmmakers envisioned it. Along the way, we encourage fans to jump in and participate in whatever creative way feels right, so that the recipe will be complete and we’ll be able to fulfill what is the ultimate goal of the festival: to create and celebrate community.
Now, we are filmmakers too. So we understand that excellence is usually more easily noticed if it’s formally awarded. With that in mind, the 2012 Charlotte Horror Fest will present the following 17 awards:
