Ieva Norvilienė graduated with a Master Degree in Management of Audiovisual Art from The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. During that time Ieva also studied Public Relations at Vilnius University in Lithuania and participated in international courses offered by such initiatives as Strategics, European Films Crossing Borders, Film Business School, EP2C (European Post Production Connection) and the Producers On The Move program, initiated by European Film Promotion (Cannes film festival, 2006) and Berlinale Talent Campus (Berlin film festival 2006). During her studies, Ieva was very active as a Producer and soon started working as a freelance Production Manager within the advertisement industry. In 2003, Ieva produced and distributed Ignas Miškinis' very successful short film Easily and Sweetly (2003). The film was very well received and selected for numerous film festivals such as; Rotterdam, Seoul, Melbourn, Hamburg, Cottbus and Berlin among others. After graduating, Miškinis and Norvilienė continued their collaboration and made their first feature film Diringas (2006). Due to their successful collaboration, Ieva and Ignas founded their own production and distribution company Tremora in 2005. Since 2005, Tremora has grown to become a successful production company and Miškinis and Norvilienė have broadened their activities and started new collaborations with new young nationally and internationally talented filmmakers. The new collaborations have lead to several co-productions (with Germany, Hungary and France) and a number of new projects in development. In 2007, Ieva’s film project Anarchy in Žirmūnai (2009), written by Saulius Drunga, received the MEDIA New Talent Award from the Cannes film festival. That same year she was selected to represent Lithuania at the international competition of Young Screen Entrepreneur of the Year, organized by the British Council. The same year Ieva and Ignas developed their second feature Low Lights (2009) in EAVE. Both films are in post-production now. Ieva’s produced Kristina’s Buožytė’s debut film The Collectress, got “Silver Crane” award for best film of the year in 2008 in Lithuania and participated in more than 30 film festivals world wide – premiered in Karlovy Vary film festival, film participated at Pusan, San Paulo, Valencia, Meinheim, Cottbuss, Cairo and many others. Ieva’s producer Ignas Miškinis 2nd film Low Lights, got “Silver Crane” award for best film of the year in 2009 in Lithuania, was premiered in Karlovy Vary film festival, is selected to the Pusan, Warsaw, Hamburg, Sevilla, Lubek and some other film festivals. Film premiere is planned for 23rd of October 2009. Currently Ieva Norvilienė is working on Kristina’s second feature VANISHING WAVES (aka AURORA), which was developed at script development workshop ScripTeast in 2009-2010, Saulius Drunga second feature Laura and the movies, developed at ScripTeast script development workshop in 2008-2009 and Ignas Miškinis feature film DREGS. Ieva Norvilienė is a member of The Independent Producers Association of Lithuania.
