About the Director: 

Florian Rene Wyss was born in Berne, Switzerland in 1974. He has worked as a High School teacher and made music in his free time. He studied Filmmaking in 2007 with Martin Albisetti (director of Photography for Border Stories), at the New York Film Academy in New York (1. Semester) & Los Angeles (2. Semester). In 2008 he made a music video for a Swiss Punk Rock Band and is presently running is the company Florian Wyss Media in Berne, Switzerland.

Andy Svensson was born in Sweden and grew up in Switzerland. He has Swiss & Swedish / EU citizenship and diplomas as Audiovisual Assistant (1996), in Management (1998) and Film & TV Producing (2007) at the New York Film Academy (Universal) in Hollywood, where he also had an internship at Maya Pictures. He had worked over 10 years as Video Operator for Consumer & Broadcast Video formats and is offering Video services From development, production, post production as well as duplication and publishing.

Film synopsis: 
Every Year over 300'000 Latinos cross the US Border illegally through the desert from Mexico. In a group of many, Manuel & Hannibal are the only ones, who manage it this time. After running out of food and water, they finally find a lonely trailer, but also an old man with a stroke. They have to decide, if they want to get help and risking getting sent back to Mexico. A dramatic short story about dreams, goals, choices and friendship.
