About the Director: 

Menhaj Huda is the award winning director of “Kidulthood” (2006), his first feature film. Having worked in music and youth TV programmes, music videos and commercials, in the early 90’s his film career began with the award winning short film “Jump Boy” (1998). This was followed by the ground breaking TV drama “Queer As Folk 2”(1999) and a string of prime time British dramas including “Murphy’s Law” and “Blue Murder”.

His second feature film “Everywhere & Nowhere” (2011) was released in the UK nationwide on 80 screens and has been selected for the Dinard Film Festival. He is currently editing “Comedown” an urban horror thriller to be released in 2012.

Film synopsis: 
‘Everywhere & Nowhere’ is a coming of age drama about friends torn apart by choices, set in London's fast-paced clubland. The story focuses on the identity struggles of 20 year old ASH, who is conflicted between the traditions of suburban family life and his ambitions in the world of music. Over a roller-coaster of a weekend ASH navigates through the minefield of his strict family life and secret liaisons, to gain his ultimate dream of becoming a club DJ.
