About the Director: 

José Ricardo Lopes was born in Tomar in 1989. In this city he began to direct small movies, being self-taught. His first short movie, Francisca e a sua Torre, was filmed at the Christ Convent in Tomar when he was only 15. Aftewards he did video recordings of several live shows and directed the ten episode series Batata Frita. In 2007 he directed the animated short movie O Cadáver Esquisito. In the same year he was admitted to the Cinema degree in the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon. In 2008 he directed the shortfilms Estrela Cadente and Je m’appellle. In 2009 e joint-directed the documentary Húmus. In 2010 he directed the shortfilm Beija-me depressa!. Currently, he is working on the post-production of another fiction short movie.

Film synopsis: 
In Tomar, on that afternoon of 1954, Isabel and André walked by each other on the street, smiled and immediately loved each other. They did not hesitate in following their path, but that was the most important moment of their lives. Because great love exists, because great love is intense, because great love is forgotten.
