In this city he began to direct small movies, being self-taught. His first short movie, Francisca e a sua Torre, was filmed at the Christ Convent in Tomar when he was only 15. Aftewards he did video recordings of several live shows and directed the ten episode series Batata Frita. In 2007 he directed the animated short movie O Cadáver Esquisito. In the same year he was admitted to the Cinema degree in the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon. In 2008 he directed the shortfilms Estrela Cadente and Je m’appellle. In 2009 e joint-directed the documentary Húmus. In 2010 he directed the shortfilm Beija-me depressa!. Currently, he is working on the post-production of another fiction short movie.
