Benedict Sampays is an independent filmmaker based in Birmingham. He has been making films since 1991. He has completed one feature entitled Lost Existence lenght 80 mins which will be due for release early 2014. Also, another feature film entitled Entailment which will be released in summer 2014 lenght 85mins.

He is a self taught filmmaker who writes, produces directs and edits his movies. The two features have been self financed. He has a production company Movieola Pictures Ltd which was set up in 2012.

All his films are dramas and deal with the theme about family and tend to put women in the lead roles and display them as strong characters.
