About the Director:

Donny Kingsley studied Telecommunications Engineering (HND), ICT (Bsc) and Strategic IT Management (Msc) before abandoning them for a degree in creative writing and film directing. His engineering and IT qualifications has given him a new edge and advantage over most of his contemporaries as not only has it enabled him to view movie making as an art, it has provided him with vital tools (analysis skills, researching skills, IT equipment operation and handling skills and general appreciation of Information and Communication Technology).
These skills, mixed with his Creative arts qualifications, experience in the movie industry and cultural background have helped him view script writing as an internal art embellished in our bodies (evident from most of his previous works as a writer). He takes both an objective and subjective stance while not divorcing reality from fiction in his scripts.
As a writer and movie director in the Nigerian Home movie industry and theater, he wrote and directed many screen/stage plays amongst which are “Front masters, Princess, Sound of the Drum, the Bat, the Last Wedding, Gunfire” and many more. He has also taught drama and creative writing as parts of literature in secondary schools and was the national secretary of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria in 2002.
His first collection of poems (Unsung Song) was published in 2008 by his publishers (Word Clay and Creative Space) and that same year, he won an award in Las Vegas (International Society of Poets) as the 2nd best poet and the best Black poet of the year. He also won an award as a new entrant writer with first writers in 2009.

Film synopsis:
Five Traffic Wardens who are University Students and migrants are determined to prove to the public that there is more to them than their big bums and issuing parking tickets. Being a Migrant worker and student with an accent in the UK is a big problem for Chris and his colleagues and they embark on a mission to uplift the image of traffic wardens and are determined to go extra miles. Albeit the daily difficulties inherent in being a traffic warden, Chris, Emeka, Sanjay, Everton, Heather, Colin and Lucy utilize all their skills to show the public that their temporary career path do not define who they are and that whenever people see them, they should not get scared that they will be fined for not packing properly rather; they should be ready to be entertained by their wits and dancing capabilities. Their quest to help change the views of the public about traffic wardens and gain acceptability is dealt a heavy blow when Colin falls in love with a fellow student (Jade). In his “never say never” attitude, Colin decides to sing to her about his undying love in front of the whole class and in turn, makes himself and his colleagues a laughing stock.
