About the Director: 

Vijay has produced four books and his art projects have been showcased in galleries worldwide. He studied filmmaking at New York University and has worked with directors Ang Lee and Mira Nair. He has received many honours and his films have been shown in over 200 countries and on 75 broadcast channels including CNN, BBC, PBS and Discovery. Alternative responses to his work include having a group show confiscated by the government and a police case that took six years to be dismissed by the courts.
