About the Director: 

 

Daniel Bean received his degree in film from the University of Utah, where he studied screenwriting and documentary filmmaking. While there, he directed the short documentary film, American Hero.
 
In 2010, he wrote and directed the short animated film, Death Pad, which went viral and won several honors on YouTube.
 
In 2011, he traveled to Brazil to direct the documentary Chariot Men, and appeared on television on the Bibo Nunes show. He was also featured on the front page of Gizmodo USA and Gizmodo Italy.
 
In September 2012, he wrote the screenplay for Patryk Kizny's short film, Rebirth, the sequel to The Chapel.
 
In December 2012, he traveled to Brazil again, this time to write and direct a short philosophical film, Predestination. Post-production finished on the film in March 2013.
