NSWCFF Highlights the Napa Film Program
The 23rd Napa Sonoma Wine Country Film Festival continues Sept 24th - 27th in select venues in select venues in downtown Napa. See nearly 50 films taking you to many different countries! NAPA VALLEY EXPO AL FRESCA The Rainbowmaker is an absolutely stunning film, a magical tale about one man's deep love for his family. When Dato (Merab Ninidze) returns home from jail, he faces overwhelming expectations to live up to. Thanks to Grandpa Giorgi (Ramaz Chkhikvadze), Dato's children imagine him as a superhero with immense powers. The first part of the program is the World Premiere of No Subtitles Necessary: Laszlo & Vilmos followed by a question and answer session with filmmakers Vilmos and James. Sat. Vilmos is known for his use of natural light and vivid use of color on features such as The Long Goodbye (1973) and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). The Master Class is Sun.
