CHAMELEON

Director: Krisztina GODA.

Gábor is an office cleaner. Wearing overalls and a baseball hat, he seems insignificant. Working on the night shift, Gábor rarely has any contact with his employers, yet he learns everything about them by thoroughly analyzing their garbage. Since he is almost invisible, nobody suspects that Gábor is, in fact, a con man who carefully chooses his victims by the trash they leave behind. His targets are mostly disillusioned, lonely women. In a few months he destroys all their romantic illusions by taking all their savings. Having an unusually high IQ and an ability to assume various personalities, Gábor is an expert in manipulation. When he gets a job at a psychologist's office, Gábor meets Hanna, an injured dancer who happens to be the daughter of a millionaire. Insecure and vulnerable, Hanna seems to be the perfect victim. Gábor pretends to be a doctor who can cure her body and her soul, an irresistible offer for a desperate woman. Everything goes according to plan until Gábor falls in love with Hanna and has to make a hard decision between her and the money.

Sellin' Bibles Ain't Easy

Director: Tordy Clark.
BW Mockumentary, reality style film followning Beatrice, who resorts to a little prostitution to make ends meet while her husband Jimmy is in the slammer. (The rest of the film follows thus: On his release, she asks him to go straight, But with a new baby, and Jimmy's brother Frank showing up to mess things u even more, their fortunes go from bad to worse. Jimmy wants to be a millionaire businessman but he's the worst huslter in history. As things spiral out of control, Beatrice is forced to make a hard decision.)

The Audition

Director: Daniel Wilson.
A desperate out of work actor takes desperate measure to get that all important next role. This film was originally made for the Virgin Media Shorts Competition. However, a technical fault on the upload meant the film was not included in the competition. This is especially ironic as the film turned out very well and will be entered into a few festivals.

Actor Martinez

Skeleton Crew

Director: Tommi Lepola & Tero Molin.
A remote mental institution next to the Russian border was shut down by the police in the early 70´s. Dr. Andersson made series of snuff films using his patients. The Doctor filmed all the murders in 8mm and started to call himself the Auteur. 30 years later a small American film crew has arrived to Finland to shoot a horror movie about the massacre. The movie’s director, Steven, is engaged in his first feature with his DoP Darius and gaffer Mike from LA. The leading actress is a Finnish rising star Lisa, who’s dreaming about Hollywood. Dr. Andersson is played by a famous B-movie actor with a big ego. Everything is going according to plan until two Finnish sound guys discover something evil hidden in the basement: the original snuff films shot by the Auteur. Steven is stimulated by the raw and brutal snuff film material and starts to rewrite the script. The scenes are not real enough. Everything changes when he finds The Auteur’s 8mm film camera. Now he is ready to shoot his masterpiece, the film for which he will be remembered. Soon the crew realizes that they are the stars of the film. Instead of making a horror film, they are in one. The Auteur is slaying the Skeleton Crew one by one. There´s no sequel for you!
