This year's edition of 3D IMAGE FESTIVAL is dedicated to the memory of Alain Derobe (1936-2012), a great French stereographer, creator of 3DStereoRig who had co-created such movies as Wim Wenders „Pina”, „If buildings could talk” or Laurent Tirard's "Astérix et Obélix: Au service de Sa Majesté". The Festival will be held in Lodz (Poland), October 20^th - 24^th 2013. 

We are happy to announce that lectures during the conference will be delivered by 3D experts such as Josephine Derobe, Buzz Hays, Ludger Pfanz, David Stuart, Tom C. Hall and Fabien Remblier.

The 3D IMAGE FESTIVAL is also handling a competition for S3D filmmakers in which the main prize is a mirror rig worth 18.000 Euros. Among all films that will be send to us also a photographic/small camera/ mirror rig will be drawn. Deadline for submitting the movies is September 30^th 2013. No entry fee required!
