While lighthearted Lucy records a women’s rugby tournament for a sick teammate, reserved Kader documents life and love as a wedding videographer. Using a handheld camera style, the film gives viewers a naturalistic glimpse into two stories combined by a twist of fate. As Kader explores his past, Lucy captures the joyful energy of her teammates. Moving from one tape to the other, the film captures the commonalities and contrasts between Lucy and Kader’s perspectives.
