On Friday the 26th of February, Strawberry Shorts Film Festival presented Strawberry Shorts @ The Cambridge Arts Picturehouse, an evening of short films about Strawberry Fair.
The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival runs as part of Strawberry Fair, Europe's largest free festivals of music and arts. We are looking for any short films made after January 2007 with running time no more than 10 minutes that fall under any of the categories: Fiction, Animation, Music video and Experimental films.
Keep in mind that it’s an online festival — the films should be submitted online.

The FilmShift Festival presents films from across the nation, that are produced independently and on the local level. We have some extremely valuable prizes for both filmmakers and screenwriters and a portion of the festival's ticket sales are being donated to charity.

Both professional and Student filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work to compete for a variety of prizes and awards. We welcome films of all genres and styles that tell strong and original stories. We also accept feature-length and short film scripts for our FilmShift Screenplay Competition.
Twenty percent of our gross ticket sales will be donated evenly to 2 local non-profit groups: Christopher's Haven (a juvenile cancer support foundation,) and MetroWest Family Theater (a community theater group.)
Our prize sponsors are, quite simply, the giants of the independent production world. The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival is looking for short films by local, national and international filmmakers for the 2010 film festival, which will be held on Midsummer Common, Cambridge, Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th of June.
Films can be of any genre but should be less than 20 minutes long. We accept films on DV, Data DVD or DVD. The submissions deadline is noon on Friday the 23rd of April.
