Way Home - Music video

user
https://youtu.be/do4KXC6Gm_8 Hi all!  I wanted to introduce myself to this page by sharing the link to my recent musicvideo that I did for "Finally George".   https://youtu.be/do4KXC6Gm_8   I shot this entirely at home, with only recycled materials (I had loads of Plasticine left over from the ad I shot for Plasticine in 2016) or things I collected over the years. What I love in Stop Motion is, that you can give things new life, instead of throwing things a...

Way Home https://youtu.be/do4KXC6Gm_8

In 2018, Finally George created his debut album "Life is a killer" and asked me to create a video clip for the song "Way Home". There was no budget, but he gave me enough time, to make it on the side of my regular jobs and create something nice. I have my little studio at home and I collect and recycle everything I can find, so except from glue and lightbulbs, all the sets and puppets were made from found a ...

Bucharest Short Film Festival

Bucharest Short Film Festival [BSFF]

Independent is the key word for Bucharest Short Film Festival [BSFF], as it is founded by independent film professionals, and focuses on independent artists in cinema, from all over the world. Bucharest Short Film Festival aims at recognizing, showcasing and spreading-out the most professional, most innovative, and most interesting fresh short international films, while always prioritizing independent short films.

Bucharest Short Film Festival will showcase some of the finest short international film in Narrative, Animation, Student, Experimental, Documentary, Fashion, Music Video, Stop Motion, Human Rights , Trailer, Webisode. We take to heart the amount of work put into each film. Therefore, the festival rules ensure that each movie is reviewed at least two times and well-debated by the jury. Some of the winner films will also be screened at other international film festivals.

Independent artists and their short films will meet an effervescent, and a quite experienced with cinema and film festivals audience, ensuring quality networking, and engaging opportunities, while the selected films will be determined by a panel of industry experts.

Bucharest Short Film Festival is building a new community of interest around international independent film professionals and film lovers, in the heart of one of the most interesting emergent capitals of arts and culture, a city that never sleeps – Bucharest.

The festival will run film screenings, preceeded or followed by artists Q&A, or networking side events, and, surely, parties, that all take place in various conventional and unconventional stages around Bucharest, as in cinemas, open spaces, and even summer theatres. Bucharest, you’ve heard about it, eventually – a city for young people. Well known for different things – like “Old Paris” nickname, in its bourgeois times, before the communism decades, or the world’s biggest parliamentary building [and one of the largest buildings of any kind], from its communism times new arhitecture, or the explosive contemporary art scene, and the also quite impressive underground arts and music and nightlife communities, in its current times.

FOXED! interview with Director James Stewart

user
Interview: James Stewart – Foxed!   The implementation of stereoscopic 3-D in film is still a relatively new concept. It’s a polarizing subject, with most casual moviegoers having no problem throwing wads of cash at major studios for the chance to put on the infamously un-hip glasses, while most hardcore cinephiles denounce the technique as a distracting, gimmicky blotch on the history of cinema. 3-D movies have been hugely lucrative for major studios, but most 3-D ...

FOXED! Continues Festival Run in 2014

user
Director James Stewart has delivered a beguiling 3D stop-motion animated journey with FOXED! In this 4 minute cautionary tale, delicate Emily is found enslaved by foxes in a dank, hard-labour cave. When she thinks her freedom is within reach, she discovers a reality far more heart-breaking. Delivered with imagination, precision and the otherworld whimsy of a Grimm’s Fairy Tale, this Canadian short film leaves you wanting more, as only the best short films can. Collecting awards aro...

Director: Pascual Perez.

Teclópolis

Director: Javier Mrad.
Once upon a time. Old magazines gently dance in the wind. A super-8 camera crawls over a wooden table while an old carpet flows in and out. Suddenly, a mouse. Then, a whole civilization running towards its inevitable destiny. Plastic waste has reached the point where not even the most distant beaches are safe.
