Ars Independent Festival brings to Katowice (Poland) young, brave and provocative cinema, which seeks for its own language, breaks functioning conventions and film styles, strives for themes unnoticed by the others. We present the most diverse achievements of independent authors. By the contests for debuts and second films we are looking for Black Horses of the cinema. Ars Independent is the space devoted to dialogue between filmmakers and the audience, created with belief that cinema as a medium can influence reality.
