Alain Andrieux

• Reporter @ Le Lien Multimédia / Qui Fait Quoi

• Self Employed at ITZACOM

Graduated in Sociology with a Master's degree in Cultural and Social Development, I specialized in developing and promoting cultural projects. Being passionate about writing and cinema, I became involved in organizing the first edition of Animaze - Montreal International Animation Film Festival (MIAFF). I discovered this new field and its thematics bringing together professionals, schools animation studios, distributors and audience. As an organizer and communications officer, I met the who's who of Quebec animation expanding my knowledge of this genre. I subsequently worked with the main Montrealer's medias dedicated to cinema :

QuiFaitQuoi qfq.com/,
Le Lien Multimedia, lienmultimedia.com/
or ITnewslink itnewslink.com/

My tasks included writing articles, translation (English-French), as well as web edition and advertising. I also assumed content management for various websites, as well as public relations within the film industry. All these experiences familiarized me with the world of cinema and writing. Today I report for various public conferences and panels (not only about cinema) writing as well as transcribing reports for meetings, companies, politics and public forums. In charge of 2014 Annecy Festival conferences, I recently joined www.filmfestivals.com/ as correspondent and seek editorial positions and/or cultural projects to widen my experience. Based in Paris I can produce filmed or written interviews or reports, articles or pictures and cover any event on which you want to communicate.

Totale Fiction and I Can Fly produces TV series ''Thunder Donuts''

Totale Fiction production, Montreal production company created in 2000, which recently turned to animation and French animation studio I Can Fly based in Paris and in Bordeaux, were in Annecy to present their new co-production : "Thunder Donuts".

"Baskup Tony Parker" is the first 2D TV series produced by I Can Fly, broadcasted on M6 and Disney XD and for whom the company developed a cobranding agreement with the NBA. High five is a team of five basketball players friends spotted by champion Tony Parker who decides to become their coach to participate in the biggest Basketball tournament in America, Baskup. They will make a United States tour by facing terrific teams in every stage. This animated series made I Can Fly growing from a small studio to an important leading producer. The quadruple NBA champion Tony Parker was very involved on the series by validating design and scripts, by bringing his ideas and promoting the production.

I Can Fly also developed ''Cook and sheep", a 30 episodes TV series, created in Morocco and intended for the Arab world's market. This variant of "Roadrunner and Coyote" stages a cook who tries to catch a sheep. The TV series is broadcasted 1 episode a day during the Ramadan's month on Space Toon, the most important Arabian channel for youth, as well as on TV5 world and VRAKTV in Quebec. Having found in Totale Fiction a partner to develop animated series "Thunder Donuts". They settled down this year in Canada.

Totale fiction is a long features and documentaries production company from Quebec which produced Fernand Dansereau's "La Brunante" and work on a financial plan for his next movie "Belhumeur".

Raymond Vermette arrived two years ago at Totale Fiction, and brought his cartoon film experience. Having worked in sound post-production at the ONF, Cinar studios, and at Modulation, which produced several animated series sound post-production for Marathon Media and the "Redakai " TV series with the toy's company Spin Master. He joined Totale Fiction and founded RPV Medias in 2013.

Norman McKay from Totale Fiction coproduced "D.DAY Normandy 1944 " with N3D land, having for theme Normandy landings. Visual effects of this 3D documentary were entrusted to Frima studios and sound editing was overseen by Raymond Vermette. "D.DAY Normandy 1944 " is currently IMAX screened at the Geode in Paris and in several others theaters in Canada, USA and worldwide.

I Can Fly and Totale Fiction met at the Kid Screen animation Summit in New York. I Can Fly wished to develop a hockey project and chose Totale Fiction as partner. Their experience in sport's animated series added to the hockey culture brought by the Quebecker company made the "Thunder Donuts" project possible. I Can Fly recently settled down in Quebec, and the project already aroused the interest of several diffusers from Canada and Europe.

Both companies were present to the Movie Market in Annecy (MIFA), to meet producers from main European hockey nations (Finland, Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland). They wish to work with several other international producers to enrich the project.

"Thunder Donuts" stages Pee wee hockey players in a mythological hockey tournament including all the cold countries cultures. Cold countries gods decided to stop waging war and solve their problems through an annual hockey tournament, gods being the teams managers. This tournament will gather Asgaard's teams from Scandinavian countries, Giants teams of the cold, North American Sasquatch teams, as well as werewolves and witches teams of Eastern Europe.

From his part, Thor suddenly decided to stop being thunder god and opened a coffee shop in Asgaard, to sell coffee and pastries at the games. Gone the laughing stock of other gods, he is going to recruit players not selected by other teams to coach the only mixed team of the tournament, with mythological players of all participating countries. His son Saku is inspired by the Finnish player former captain of the Montreal Canadien's hockey team. This animated TV series presents a strong cartoon design for its 26 episodes first season.

A video game as well as web capsules about pastry recipes are already in discussion.
