DOK.fest Munich 2017 - Call for Entries

We kindly invite filmmakers, production and distribution labels to submit their current documentary films.

DOK.fest Munich is one of the largest festivals for documentary films in Europe. The international program includes three relevant competition sections and ten awards (2.500 to 10.000 Euros).                                                     In 2016, the festival celebrated a new record of 37.500 visitors.

For the coming DOK.fest we accept films longer than 52 minutes, which must have been completed after January 1st 2016 and must not have been shown in German public television yet.

For our School program DOK.education we look for professional short films (10 to 30 minutes) showing powerful stories about kids and adolescents (8 to 18 years), told in an artistic and creative way.

Submission deadlines:

DOK.fest: December 16th, 2016

DOK.education: December 10th, 2016

Date of the post stamp applies.

Please register your film online here.
