A toast to Malibu International Film Festival

12th Malibu International Film Festival Announces Official Film Selections & Special Events

The 12th Malibu Film Festival is scheduled for October 6th through October 8th. The Festival kicks off on Thursday evening at Malibu Cinemas with its Opening Night Films sponsored by Keely Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, Kym Gold, and Kanner Sister Productions. The Opening Night films are “Miss South Pacific: Beauty and the Sea” directed by Mary Lambert (Pet Sematary 1 & 2) and “Kissing Strangers” directed by David Katz (Film and Television Producer, Malibu Film Festival Founder). The Opening Night Party immediately follows at Malibu Lumber Yard sponsored by Keely Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, Kym Gold, Stella Artois, Clear Channel Outdoor, and SIR. The Festival will not screen on Friday in observance of Yom Kippur. Closing Night is Saturday evening: the Festival wraps up in style at the Lumber Yard with film screenings and cocktails under the stars, Awards Presentations, and a Closing Night Party.
