SDkidsThe San Diego International Kid's Film Festival promotes the idea of entertainment with education. Supported by many across the world, the festival supports the entertainment and education industries by showcasing international films, and gives young, aspiring filmmakers a channel to communicate to an international community. The resulting collaboration produces a unique multi-cultural experience, engaging young viewers with positive media, as a diverse education. 2018 San Diego International Kids film Festival is opening for submission NowThe 2018 San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival (SDIKFF) will take place from August 24th to 26that the Schulman Auditorium in Carlsbad, California. On behalf of the SDIKFF committee, we cordially invite you to submit your film/TV/Screenplay/songs to the 2018 San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival. All official selected films have a complementary display area in the film market. Aiming to promote positive educational impact on children and the youth, the San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival actively supports innovativefilms made by filmmakers from around the globe. The festival offers an excellent multicultural platform to engage aspiring filmmakers, kids, and educators alike: screening quality films, television episodes, and screenplay showcaseplay in short and feature length, as well as works in documentaries, animations, educational visual arts, and mixed media. SDIKFF is in its journey to become the premier film festival in the region and on the children and family scene. In its 3 days event, the 2018 SDIKFF will host Opening Night Gala, Industrial Panel Discussions, Screenplay showcase, Red Carpet Award Ceremony, Family Film Market, Cultural Angel Pageant. These events will help facilitate interactions between filmmakers and the local kids. Youth and adultcritiques will give comments to the selected films after screenings, and volunteer interpreters will assist with non-English speaking filmmakers during the events.. An outstanding committee of industry personnel is serving on the film juries. And film distributors will be present at the festival to secure wanted material. Filmmakers can submit films early and often.
